The original Atlas Advanced LED Fog Generator brought two production elements together: a fast vertical fog effect and a powerful array of colored light. Instead of coordinating separate fog and lighting fixtures, designers could create one synchronized upshot cue from a compact machine.
That combination made Atlas a flexible tool for concerts, festivals, nightlife, sporting events, attractions, and other productions built around high-energy visual moments.
Fog plumes with an immediate response
Atlas produces plumes reaching up to 50 feet, with adjustable height control for effects that need less than the maximum. Dual high-intensity pumps create fast output, while the machine’s shutoff system is designed to stop the effect cleanly and reduce residual fog at the outlet.
At full output, Atlas can sustain a burst for up to 20 seconds. Apex quick-dissipating fluid was developed specifically for the machine, helping create a defined plume that clears quickly after the cue.
Color built into the effect
Thirty 10-watt RGBAW LEDs surround the output, allowing Atlas to illuminate the fog with a wide range of colors. The added white channel helps produce cleaner tints and bright neutral looks alongside saturated red, green, blue, and amber combinations.
Two DMX modes support different programming needs. A 10-channel mode controls the LED array as one unified element. A 20-channel mode divides the lights into three zones for more detailed chases, color changes, and movement around the plume.
Place the machine where the design needs it
Atlas can operate across multiple mounting angles, including inverted positions. Its reversible fluid cage allows the container to remain correctly oriented when the machine is mounted upside down.
That flexibility opens placement options above stages, within scenic systems, along trusses, or in floor positions. The low-profile enclosure helps keep attention on the effect instead of the equipment.
Designed for professional control
The machine uses 5-pin Neutrik DMX, with optional wireless DMX available for installations where cable routing is difficult. The published 120V specification uses a 1,700-watt heating system and a 12-minute initial warm-up.
Atlas is ETL listed and designed for repeatable use in professional environments.
