Low-lying fog has traditionally required tradeoffs. CO₂ and dry ice can produce dramatic results, but they add consumables, logistics, storage requirements, and operating costs. Water-based ultrasonic systems introduce their own setup and residue concerns.
Genesis takes a different approach. The system pairs with a Prodigy Pro or Prodigy+ fog generator to create high-volume, ground-hugging effects without CO₂, dry ice, water, or other added consumables.
FrostFlow Cooling keeps fog close to the ground
At the center of Genesis is the patent-pending FrostFlow Cooling System. Instead of operating at one fixed condition, FrostFlow continually monitors the machine and adjusts internal components to maintain the temperature needed for low-lying fog.
That active control lets Genesis respond as fog density and volume change. Whether the cue calls for a thin layer moving across the floor or a dense rolling cloud, the system is designed to keep the output cold, consistent, and close to the ground.
High-volume airflow with fine control
Genesis combines FrostFlow Cooling with a high-velocity internal fan and a large output path. Fan speed is adjustable from 0–100%, giving operators control over how quickly the fog travels and how broadly it spreads.
Multiple compatible fluids add another creative variable. By changing the fluid and adjusting fog output, fan speed, and cooling power, designers can shape density, height, movement, and dissipation time for the space.
Three ways to operate
Two integrated presets simplify common effects. Low & Slow is designed for restrained, ground-hugging movement, while Stratosphere supports larger, faster-moving clouds. Customizable Manual Mode gives operators direct control when a production needs a more specific result.
The dust- and moisture-resistant touchscreen uses an interface familiar to operators of other Master FX equipment. Genesis can also be controlled through 5-pin DMX using three channels for fog, fan speed, and power.
One interface for the complete system
When connected to a compatible Prodigy generator, Genesis takes control of the combined system. Operators can manage fog production and cooling from the Genesis interface instead of coordinating two separate machines.
An automated condensation pump moves collected moisture to a 2.5-liter quick-connect reservoir or to a remote drain location. That option is especially useful for permanent installations where routine access may be limited.
Designed for touring and installation
Genesis uses high-grade steel construction and a compact, modular layout suitable for both road systems and fixed venues. For noise-sensitive applications, it can be positioned up to 50 feet away and connected through auxiliary ducting.
