Prodigy Pro Expands What a Professional Fog System Can Do

When Prodigy Pro joined the Master FX lineup, the goal was not simply to make another fog generator. It was to create a platform with the output required for large environments and the control needed for detailed production design.

The machine became the tenth model designed and manufactured by Master FX, building on lessons from the original Prodigy and Prodigy+. Its defining idea remains straightforward: high-volume fog should still be precise, flexible, and easy to operate.

Power from a dual architecture

Prodigy Pro uses two high-intensity pumps and two heating elements working together. That architecture increases output capacity while supporting continuous operation for productions that need sustained fog.

Each output can also be controlled individually. For designers, that creates options beyond a single plume. Fog can be ducted to separate scenic positions, routed to different parts of a venue, or balanced across a more complex installation.

Intelligent control behind the output

Different fog fluids are formulated for different visual results. Some dissipate quickly for short bursts; others remain in the air to build atmosphere. Prodigy Pro’s integrated fluid-selection system adjusts its heater profile and pump operation for the chosen Master FX fluid.

That automatic calibration helps produce the effect each formula was designed to create while simplifying setup for the operator.

An interface built around the cue

The dust- and moisture-resistant touchscreen organizes operation into three useful modes. Infinity Mode supports continuous fog. Manual Mode provides adjustable control for custom effects. Manic Mode delivers maximum output for the largest moments.

Customizable presets let crews save repeatable configurations, while 5-pin DMX, two DMX profiles, and RDM support integrate the machine into professional control systems. Operators can choose a simple channel footprint or more detailed control depending on the production.

Designed for real workflows

Practical details matter during load-in and operation. Prodigy Pro includes voltage detection, low-fluid sensing, quick-disconnect fluid fittings, a 5-liter tank, and compatibility with all Master FX fog fluids.

Those features help crews move between effect types and venues without treating every setup as a new system. The same machine can support a touring concert, a permanent attraction, a theatrical production, a large event, or a training environment.

Confidence beyond opening night

Prodigy Pro is ETL listed and backed by a 10-year warranty. That coverage reflects the long-term role the machine is designed to play in professional inventories.

High output attracts attention, but the lasting value of Prodigy Pro is the control surrounding that output: flexible routing, fluid-aware operation, repeatable modes, and an interface designed to get crews from setup to cue quickly.
